happy paint party friday...

I can't believe another week has past and I have no idea where it went.
Yesterday I posted about the rain from last week.
Anyway, it's another wonderful, beautiful Friday.
The best thing about Friday is Paint Party Friday blog hopping!
Thank you to our beautiful, talented hostesses:
Eva and Kristin!

I  am still working on faces,
Once I take a picture of a finished face,
I see all the flaws.
Her eyes are not even, her nose is crooked, is her mouth is in the right place?
From now on, take a picture of the sketch, find out what's wrong, then go back to the sketch and fix it. Hmmmm...is that cheating?
How do you make even faces?
(and I use straight lines for placement).

Painted a few backgrounds that came out pretty good.
So excited to paint on them although it may not be a face, haha!

Have a wonderful Paint Party Friday and a GREAT weekend!

Love the pastel backgrounds, and your face is good. I think drawn faces have irregularities just like real ones, that gives them character! Have a great weekend, hugs, Valerie

I like your face. Imperfections actually make it come alive. At least that's how I feel.your b/g's are great. Have a great day.

Your faces are quite wonderful.

Your face is lovely! I often notice things in my faces that I'd like to fix after I've scanned it in. I don't think it's cheating at all to improve faces based on seeing it differently if you'd like to, although I think yours is very sweet.

Your face looks like there is a story to be told. It is a wonderful face. You may see the 'flaws' but don't look to closely at mine then :) Thanks for the visit and the follow. I'm also following. The backgrounds look terrific for whatever you choose to draw/paint. The pics of the hummer are adorable, I love birds. Blessings, Janet, PPF

You are being way to critical on yourself, which I know I do sometimes as well - LOL! Anyway, it's a beautiful portrait just the way it is, as are your colorful backgrounds. Blessings!

You are being way too critical.. she is beautiful...and truthfully no real face is perfect...one side is always different than the other!! Some people have longer chins than others some have shorted distance between the nose and mouth... Your lady looks really good... And yes I always see flaws when I photograph it...just the other day I fixed an arm...and no it's not cheating do whatever works for you!! Your face is really really good though!!

Hugs Giggles

I think your face is great. I particularly love her eyes. They are so big and have a story to tell. I don't think scanning a sketch and then going back to fix something you don't like is cheating. The beautiful thing about art is that we can't cheat. We are the artists and we can do what we want.

Have a wonderful week and thank you so much for your comment.
