unfinished & untitled

Since I now have three Unfinished and Untitled pieces started, today's "U" post for the A-Z Challenge is dedicated to:
just not liking this one too well. not sure i can salvage it.

i think this one will make a good background, just haven't found the picture or theme hiding in it yet.

started this last night. I was really needing some inspiration and direction. i found www.createmixedmedia.com and watched a video by katie kendrick. i learned new collage tips and techniques. great tutorial.
i like this one. it has potential.
So what projects are you working on that are Unfinished and Untitled?

I like the second one very much! I see koi swimming in a pond.
I scrapped my fic for "U" called Undoing. No heart in it, and it shows. I also got halfway through re-doing the bathroom and stalled because I can't find a colour for the trim that I like.

I really love the energy in the first one!

I love all three of these and see great potential with each one. I most definitely think you can and will make something amazing out of each or them. I should check out that video, I would love to try some mixed media collage, but haven't quite gotten around to it yet.
Oh my goodness, I have an abundance of unfinished projects. Knitting, quilting, drawing, painting...there's always something that is waiting for me to get the desire to come back to it. Not to mention all of the pictures inside my head that are waiting to be put on paper/canvas. Sometimes it's very overwhelming. :)
Did you do these on canvas? I love the colors you chose.

Hi Sylvia-Thank you for the comment on the first one. It started it earlier this month for me and my brother but I was not too happy with how it turned out. You comment got me inspired again!

Hi Li-I know the feeling all too well. I love painting bathrooms and insides of houses, especially the cutting/trim work. If we lived closer I would be there in minutes to help you out and play with colors-my favorite thing! Love the comment on koi fishes, yeah I can see that. Thank you.

Hi Heather and glad to know you have lots of unfinished too. I'm trying to hard sometimes thinking that what I start needs to be finished immediately. The video gave me lots of ideas. Sometimes I just need to watch someone else or look at others work to get inspired and learn new stuff.

The first two pics are done on old hardback book covers-my keeping with the recycle/upcycle theme. The third one is done on a heavy watercolor paper that had a really messed up sketch I did but wanted to re-use the paper somehow.

My head spins too with ideas, usually the best are when I am at work or in the shower!

Thank you all so much for the comments.

I think those are great! Keep up with them. I'm working on my first novel, so definitely mid big project here.

These pieces are great, even the one you feel is not working (maybe you need to come back to it after a few months...will check out the video. I have a ton of stuff that is unfinished, I used to beat myself up about it, but now they serve when I have specific slots of time I know there is something I can always work on:)
